Salary Report

Each year the Committee on the Economic Status of the Profession of the Syracuse University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors reports on the economic status of Syracuse University faculty. John Brule, Pat Cihon, Can Isik, and Joanna Masingila prepared this year’s report. The raw data on salary and fringe benefits were provided by the SU administration, through the Senate Budget Committee. The database is the same as that used by the administration in preparing its December 2012 report for the AAUP National office.

This year’s report is a streamlined report due to retirements and less active roles of those involved in preparing the report. To be able to provide future salary reports, we need the help of other AAUP members. Persons interested in assisting with the AAUP Salary report should contact Can Isik (cisik@syr.edu) or Joanna Masingila (jomasing@syr.edu). To join AAUP, see the membership form at the end of this report.
